We are pleased to announce that Diaverum Sweden has been awarded a new contract in Stockholm, that will enable the company to continue providing life-enhancing renal care in the country, and consolidate its position as the market leader in private dialysis.

Diaverum is a long-term provider of renal care services in Stockholm, having managed the Solna Gate clinic since 2009 and the Södertälje, Nacka and Järfälla clinics since 2017. The new contract commenced on 1 January 2024, and will run until 31 December 2029, with an option to extend thereafter. Besides the four Stockholm clinics, Diaverum Sweden also has a clinic in Falköping, which successfully extended its long-term contact in 2022.

The contract encompasses the provision of fully managed services, including haemodialysis (HD) and haemodiafiltration (HDF). As part of this, the Stockholm clinics will continue serving about 140 patients on behalf of Karolinska University Hospital, part of the second largest hospital network in Sweden, and Danderyd Hospital, one of the city’s most prominent healthcare institutions.

Commenting on the news, Annica Rosenborg, Country Manager for Diaverum Sweden, said: “This is very welcome news and a testament to the True care our clinic staff have been providing our patients these past years. We are energised and ready to continue offering the highest possible standards of renal care in the years to come – because everyone deserves a fulfilling life”.

“The continued trust placed in us by the Swedish national healthcare services to provide life-enhancing renal care is highly gratifying and we look forward to continuing this collaboration”.

Diaverum Sweden currently employs more than 65 staff, who care for about 200 renal patients across five clinics in the country.
